The Watertiger Story
Global eclectic decor
Watertiger is a treasure trove of exotic homewares, antique Asian furniture and eclectic decor from around the world.
Our entire collection of beautifully crafted pieces are all personally curated by founder Kathrin Bruce. Kathrin spent over two decades living in the East where she developed a great respect for historical, handcrafted objects, reclaimed wood furniture, interior pieces and exotic artefacts.
Throughout her travels, Kathrin developed a particular proclivity for rustic Asian furniture and decorative pieces from other far off cultures. She now takes great joy in sharing her favourite pieces, including Chinese antique furniture and Indian home decor, online from Australia.

With a nomadic spirit and curious mind, Kathrin Bruce has travelled the globe in search of inspiration and beauty, often with her three boys, to faraway places in search for one-of-a-kind treasures.
A long history of living and working in the fashion industry in South East Asia honed Kathrin’s eye for craftsmanship, artisan quality and Eastern sensibilities.
This passion and purpose has culminated in the creation of Watertiger.

Watertiger provides an avenue for acquiring one-of-a-kind artisanal pieces, encompassing everything from antique furniture and intricate soft furnishings to exotic accessories and global eclectic decor.
We also offer the service of direct sourcing containers from India, Turkey, China, Indonesia and Morocco.
