Ceramic Floor Lamp "Fat Lava" Circa 1970s
Striking ceramic floor lamp featuring an amphora-shaped base in classic Fat Lava style, hand-marked by Scheurich . The sculptural form showcases the brutalist aesthetic of 1970s German ceramics, paired with an authentic period cotton-wool shade in warm, geometric patterns.
In excellent condition with no chips or cracks to the ceramic. Original bakelite foot switch intact. The warm, diffused glow creates an intimate atmosphere—a statement piece that bridges modernist design with vintage character.
A rare example of West German ceramic craftsmanship, circa 1970s.
