A 18th century French farmhouse's solid chestnut and walnut kitchen table, the well-burnished walnut top faded to a wonderfully soft colour and showing marking from kitchen work, standing on chamfered square-section legs joined by an 'H' stretcher. A shallow drawer with its original brass drawer-pull is fitted into the front rail. Area of the Lower Normandy, circa 1780.
