Passata Bowls, also known as 'limmi,' originate from Puglia and they take the form of rustic handmade terracotta bowls.
The beautifully decorative element comes from the cream glaze on the interior, which is splattered with vibrant green/ turquoise paint with external terracotta unglazed and on display, originally created to make tomato passata, is made of rustic earthenware on the exterior and a charming, glazed interior of spotted vivid pesto-hued green over a deep ochre-coloured base which has aged beautifully.
